I love the therapeutic benefits of painting with palette knife and acrylic paint. This abstract painting was Spirit inspired and I love the outcome. I have been blessed with the gift of prophetic art but I still need some support with the spiritual interpretation. Fortunately I have a couple of friends who have the gift of interpretation and from their interpretation I named this Baptism – A Life Submerged in the Spirit. However, the beauty of abstract art and prophetic art is that it will speak to the viewer in a way that connects with them. What do you see? How does it make you feel?

To me, discipleship – commitment to following Jesus – is something for every day. When we link our life with Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection, some choose to publicly demonstrate that in full-immersion baptism. Full-immersion baptism shows ones commitment to living a life submerged in the Spirit. That’s what I believe this abstract painting conveys. But, all art is open to interpretation by the viewer. It’s important that you look at this through your own lens of circumstance and emotions/spirituality. Only then will it become meaningful to you.
